We experience the opening of the world-famous Nuernberger Christkindlesmarktes. We admire the living crib of monastery Andechs, meet the genuine Father Christmas and be told a Christmas story by the Nuernberger Baby Jesus. The old Rothenburger dedicating night, the traditional mountain Christmas and the world-famous Dresden Striezelmarkt once again aroused to new life in the advent. The Dresden cross choir is brought to life by the children s voices and a white wintry Germany during the Christmas season form the conclusion of this informative journey about the customs and culture of German Christmas history.

UnCommon Belief! - It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!
UnCommon Belief...that's what I think of when I think of this Halloween Classic.
What possesses a boy to sit in a pumpkin patch, on Halloween, waiting for the mysterious and magical Great Pumpkin. A boy with UnCommon Belief, that's who.
While Charlie Brown's name may be in the title, this is most certainly the story of the blanket dragging Linus. Linus, a boy who doesn't care about what people think of him (notice blanket), a boy that holds true year after year waiting ever vigilanty for the tardive Great Pumpkin. That's dedication, my friends. That's UnCommon Belief!
Linus my hero.
Disappointment ultimately waits our hero, but he stands firm with his gal pal Sally. Tried and true, Linus stands firm...until the end or does he.
This may sound like a whole lot of hogwash, but I think this story has alot meaning. Don't get me started on "I got rock!"
It's Great Pumpkin is truly a classic for kids of all ages. Quite simply, this a entertaining special. If you haven't seen it, don't wait for Halloween, get the remastered deluxe edition dvd and enjoy.
